Job Details
We're looking to recruit both Cardiac Echo and Pacing Physiologists to join us at Cambridge on a bank basis.
The successful candidates will support the cardiology clinks and the cardiac interventional Cardiologists and must able to undertake echo cardiograms, and or support patients and their cardiologists following loop recorders pacing device implantation and actively manage the software systems and records linked with devices.
In addition, they will ensure accurate clinical records are maintained in accordance with professional, statutory and organisational guidelines and provide clinical supervision in line with statutory requirements.
The successful candidates will need to be currently be registered with the RCCP as a Clinical Physiologist. They will hold a BTEC ONC and HNC Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement and / or BSc Clinical Science /Physiology or equivalent experience - as required for RCCP registration; they will also have a valid Immediate Life Support certificate.
It would be desirable that candidates had Accreditation with some of the relevant
Professional bodies.
* SCST - Society for Cardiological Science and Technology
* BSE - British Society of Echocardiography.
