Kate and Rebecca are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and passionate Groups & Events Executive to join their team. Previous experience in a boutique lifestyle or luxury hospitality environment would be beneficial.

Experience Required

• At least one year of experience in a similar role in a hotel or event space.
• Knowledge of Opera PMS and Delphi.
• A fun, positive and approachable demeanor with the ability to communicate clearly and comfortably with hotel guests, colleagues and management.
• A strong command of the English language, spoken and written.
• The ability to multitask in a fast paced environment and a high level of attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate the booking process from the enquiry stage to meeting of the client on the day, to create a seamless experience.
• Generate function sheets for all function space and meetings in the hotel.
• Block appropriate function space to be included in the contract.
• Actively up-sell each business opportunity, selling all function space to its maximum capacity and to the right target market.
• Align customer profile with the appropriate hotel product.
• Post all room hire charges and equipment hire to folio.
• Liaise with the Accounts Team in preparing and generating final invoices for clients.
• Liaise with the Reservations Team to ensure that all hotel room bookings are correctly created and updated including contracted rates, billing information and special requests.
