As part of our family of associates you will host a blend of guests & events including weddings, golf, corporate guests & leisure visitors.As a Senior Spa Therapist you will provide professional management of the Therapist team with responsibility for all guests, business and associate requirements. You will manage the range of Treatments offered by the Spa, ensuring that these are relevant and contemporary to the clients needs and that they are delivered to the highest standards.Experience:

  • Qualified beauty Therapist. NVQ 3 minimum
  • Minimum 2 years H&B experience.

  • Job Summary Financial Performance
    • Be responsible for the accuracy of all Spa performance reporting and P&L data
    • Maximise Spa revenue and profit by delivering quality products and service
    • Manage stock security and minimize loss via stock management systems, stock requisition procedures and stock count
    • Manage staffing levels robustly, through effective rosters to maximize revenue and client satisfactionOperational Standards
    • Implement and maintain controls and procedures to ensure the highest standards, efficiencies and professional operations are in place within the Spa
    • Deliver the recognised Marriott Spa journey for all clients
    • Effectively manage the Therapist team and the treatment range offered by the Spa
    • Develop both formal and informal communication channels between the Spa team
    • Maintain data integrity of electronic stock control system, point of sale and spa scheduling systems
    • Log and track all client feedback , providing timely responses to all comments
    • Prepare reports and provide performance information
    • Conduct standards checklists, audits and H&S requirements
    • Ensure that all department equipment is in good working order.
    • Ensure all departmental associates adhere to the hotel image standardsSales & Marketing
    • Utilise targets and commission structures to increase sales and profit
    • Develop the Treatment range offered by the Spa, ensuring that it is relevant and contemporary to the needs of the client
    • Conduct competitor visits to ensure Marriotts pre-eminence in the market place as regards service, product offering and price
    • Maximise revenue and profit opportunities from product house promotional daysTraining & Development
    • Ensure all Therapists are trained effectively to meet the required standards of the H&B industry, inclusive of hotel training requirements including Spa Passports to Success.
    • Trade test Therapists to ensure the quality and standard of treatments being given
    • Conduct the Induction training for all new Therapists and keep up to date training records
    • Be aware of new industry trends and product developments
    H&S
    • Proactively support the Health and Safety Policy of the Hotel in conjunction with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974
    • Ensure compliance to (COSHH) Regulations 1988 and maintain your department COSHH Register.
    • Comply with the Fire Safety Policy of the hotel.
    Ensure safe working practices are adhered to and Risk Assessments completed
