Carnival UK have an exciting opportunity for a G&A Finance Project Manager within Financial Control :

Main Responsibilities

• Over the next twelve months, agree and execute a G&A transformation plan.
• Deliver a step change in reporting and analysis for cost centre managers and members of our executive leadership team.
• Deliver a training programme for cost centre managers, and a robust and scalable and sustainable training model for the future
• Deliver a new project reporting process and output
• Ensure buy-in to project from all stakeholders
• Plan and manage the G&A transformation processes to ensure smooth project delivery, , while ensuring ongoing monthly management accounts, business control reports, plans and forecasts are delivered.
• Through relationships with other Operating companies and other external sources, design a best practice and scalable solution.
• Have excellent informal relationships with the SLT and ELT
• Own Carnival UK’s  shoreside cost reporting  change processes.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle or other ERP system and sub system
• Technical accounting knowledge (US GAAP and IFRS )to support capital and accounting associated with the 1200 shoreside employees.          
• Strong systems knowledge to create scalable and sustainable solutions.
• Strong project management and engagement skill

About You 

• Knowledge of working in a management role in Finance
• Cross functional and multi level (incl. Board level) influencing, communication and teamwork.
• Substantial financial accounting experience, including balance sheet control / reconciliations
• Large company experience
• Change and management reporting experience

Desirable:

• ERP (e.g. Oracle / SAP) systems experience
