Kitchen Porter - Grange Bracknell Hotel

Grange Hotels, a private collection of luxury hotels primarily located in Central London is now looking to recruit Kitchen Porters for our Hotel based in Bracknell.

The ideal candidates should be polite, friendly with good customer service skills. Previous experience in similar role is desirable.

General Functions:

• To maintain the highest standard of hygiene in the kitchen.
• To assist chefs in food preparation as necessary.
• Clean work areas, floors, walls, extractor fans, fridges and other kitchen equipment.
• Clean store rooms and walk-in fridges.
• Wash up crockery, cutlery, glassware, pots, pans and all kitchenware.
• Operate and clean dishwashing equipment safely and according to the correct procedures.
• Deep-clean ovens, cookers and other equipment and work areas periodically.
• Polish crockery, cutlery, glassware and kitchenware as required.
• Dispose of rubbish.
• Keep rubbish areas clean.
• Wash rubbish bins at the end of each shift.
• Assist chefs in some food preparation as required.
• Work safely to minimise breakages.
• Check and accept deliveries.
