Head of Sales - Leeds

Head of Sales wanted: do you have great leadership skills and a passion for sales? As we have a brand new position in our hotel.

Hospitality is a competitive marketplace and we need a Head of Sales to ensure our pipeline of business leads is constantly being replenished with new opportunities.

Fortunately we’ve got a great business – a 4-star hotel with spa, restaurant and bar that is popular for business, leisure and celebrations – so we have plenty to entice new guests through the doors.

Our Head of Sales will be a key player in our new leadership team, having an unwavering focus on sales for all our revenue streams and helping the General Manager create a winning business strategy.

Key responsibilities will include:

• preparing and implementing an annual sales and marketing plan, in conjunction with central commercial and marketing teams, and be accountable for the delivery of this plan;
• leading and managing a team of sales specialists to deliver proactive and tactical sales activity;
• implementing the pricing and sales strategy for all areas of the business in conjunction with the General Manager / Revenue Manager / Commercial Director; and
• negotiating any contracted business on behalf of the hotel.
