Bar / Waiting Staff Required

We are looking for an enthusiastic & passionate person to join the small, friendly, team in our cosy 16th Century pub.

Our pub is independently owned and we pride ourselves on offering a friendly welcome to all (dogs and kids included). We offer a relaxed, informal environment, good quality fresh food including freshly made pizzas and are developing an emerging programme of specialist food evenings.

The pub has a long established local reputation and business has grown since we took over 5 months ago. We now need to expand the team to help us build on this growth by continuing to provide the friendly welcome and personalised service our customers are used to. 

The ideal candidate will have have previous pub/ restaurant experience, fantastic customer service skills and a desire to make a genuine connection with customers old and new. 

The role is offered on a full time, permanent basis. We are looking for someone who sees their long term future within hospitality and who wants to develop their career with us.

Day to day responsibilities will include preparing drinks, serving at tables, managing bookings, managing the cellar, opening and lock up of the premises, cash handing and of course making sure that every person who walks through the door is made to feel welcome and valued.

The role is hands on, varied and offers a genuine opportunity for the right person to play a crucial role in developing and growing the business and therefore their career.

Please note that there is no accommodation offered with this role but we are close to good transport links, just 10 minutes walk from Guildford mainline station.
