Customer Service Representative (Spanish Speaking) - Heathrow

Be you. Be British Airways

You need to be a certain kind of person to work as a Customer Service Executive for British Airways. Organised, flexible, solutions focused, empathetic, proactive and calm under pressure, you need to enjoy interacting with all kinds of people – and giving our customers the best possible beginning and end to their journey.

This is a commercially important role within the Heathrow terminals delivering exceptional customer service relating to reservations and ticketing services.

You must have excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish, and have the ability to deliver a high level of customer service at all times, irrespective of the pressure that this role sometimes faces. You should also have a good understanding of British Airways’ products.

You will

Deliver world class customer service in an ever-changing and fast-paced operational environment. Hosting and welcoming customers throughout the ground customer journey, you’ll provide full service check-in and help them with self-service systems and luggage drop, resolving any problems efficiently. You’ll also supervise embarking and disembarking procedures, overseeing security processes (visas, passports, ESTA etc.)

You’ll be

Resilient in the face of difficulty, able to adapt to changing circumstances and customise your interaction to the individual. Working to tight timescales and technologically-savvy, you’ll use your initiative to get things right for our customers and anticipate potential challenges.

You’ll have

A strong customer focus and a positive, team-orientated attitude. Fluent in both Spanish and English. Have a good standard of numeracy and strong verbal/written communication skills.

You’ll get

The buzz of working in an exciting, fast-paced environment, underpinned by world class training and fantastic development opportunities – all while looking the part in a Julian MacDonald uniform. That’s not to mention the competitive salary and shift allowances.

At British Airways, our top priority is the safety and security of our customers and colleagues. Due to airport security, we have to make sure all candidates meet our strict referencing criteria. We’ll be here to guide and support you throughout the entire referencing process.

British Airways is committed to diversity and flexibility in the workplace. If you require any reasonable adjustments to support you during the application process, please mention this at any stage.
