Personal Trainer - Anytime Fitness, Ipswich

We are looking for a employed personal trainer for operation at our Ipswich Waterfront location. Responsible for conducting fitness programs and assessments to deliver an excellent member experience while promoting your personal training services. As an employed PT we will take all the hard work out of it for you and you will be paid for the hours that you work.

Responsibilities and Duties

What will a PT by responsible for?

As a personal trainer at Anytime Fitness your day to day duties will include;

• Conducting our Personal Lifestyle Package to our new and existing members, in which you can promote and sell your PT services.
• To promote the Anytime Fitness brand and your PT services at all times, assisting with out reach events and social engagement.
• Maintain general housekeeping and cleanliness of the gym floor, equipment and changing rooms.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations in place and follow the Anytime Fitness code of conduct.
• To have a visible presence on the gym floor, helping, supporting and engaging with members as much as possible.
• To plan and conduct weekly gym classes including; Spin, Circuits, HIIT.

Qualifications and Skills

Someone bright, driven, empathetic, professional and with a passion for helping others. You must be a person who leads by example and strives to not only improve your own life but also those around you.

The basic qualifications required for the role include the following, however additional qualifications such as a run leader, exercise referral, pre and post natal, yoga or sports coaching would be seen as an advantage in securing the position.

• Level 2 Gym Instructor Award
• Level 2 Award in Instructing Circuits
• Level 2 Award in Spin/Cycling to music
• Level 3 Personal Training Diploma or equivalent degree
• First Aid in the work place
• Exercise to Music licence
