Business Development Manager - Leeds

Combining the style of a boutique hotel with the convenience of a serviced apartment, we are not your typical hotel, our guests enjoy all the benefits of a normal hotel with added extras such as a free grab and go breakfast. Our Aparthotels can be found in new or adapted buildings typically in key cities and close to transport links. Our growth strategy means we are busy behind the scenes working on a number of new openings every year!

We are pleased to release a new position within our Roomzzz Aparthotel Brand. You will be responsible for pro-active sales and developing strategies for new business revenue streams whilst sustaining the current client base though account management. Working alongside the hotel managers, sales and key account manager you will drive the B2B sales effort. You will be based in Leeds however, travel will be required as and when necessary.

You will be highly organised, have a passion for hospitality and demonstrate a proven experience of relationship building and exceeding targets. You will be a confident, effective communicator and have experience of working in a fast paced environment responding positively to business improvements.

Main Duties:

 

  • To manage & maintain the assigned SME client portfolio through proactive relationship management, account development plans and annual rate negotiation
  • To identify, research and engage with potential new corporate accounts, through direct enquiries, hotel sales leads and market prospecting
  • Support all new openings and existing portfolio to build a base of SME corporate clients
  • To support presentation of Roomzzz to national and regional business travel agencies
  • To support, implement and manage effective key account management strategies
  • To support the Sales Manager activity, keeping in touch with all accounts and providing day to day support and interim contact activity so that customer relationships are maintained at all levels throughout the year
  • To achieve budgeted revenue though pro-active sales and key account management
  • To encourage and influence hotels and CRS for commercial sales leads
  • Prepare weekly & monthly sales report and attend monthly revenue, sales & operations meetings
  • To attend and present at the Managers meetings as required
  • To promote and recruit companies to the company loyalty scheme
  • To support events and promotions regionally and nationally to drive Roomzzz promotion and education for business development
