Senior Premium Sales Executive- London

Reporting to: Premium Sales & Club Box Manager

Department: Hospitality

Working Hours Commitment: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm as well home match days 

Job Function:   The Senior Premium Sales Executive will be responsible for delivering proactive new business sales for premium areas & the account management of seasonal Club Box members.  A key focus will be on adding value to existing processes and implementing new sales approaches to grow the premium annual waitlists.

Main Responsibilities

  • Generate new seasonal Club Box, Premium & Millennium Suite leads and produce a strong new business campaign
  • Proactively generate new match-by-match leads, with a focus on Millennium Suites
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and business development activities; prepare and present weekly sales activity
  • To ensure effective management of Microsoft Dynamics Premium Sales tool
  • Build and develop existing and new client relationships via a qualified waitlist
  • Work closely with the Business Development and Meetings & Events team to generate cross-venue expenditure from the box client profile
  • Represent the Chelsea FC brand at any external events, meetings and exhibitions
  • Ensure the high standards of customer service both pre-sale and post-sale are maintained
  • Oversee the day to day management of allocated Club Box & premium seasonal accounts
  • Securing box owner renewal at the end of each contract term
  • Conduct client facing interaction with key accounts on a matchday
  • Ensuring pre match preparation and checks are completed to the highest standards
  • Supervise and act as the point of contact for team members to ensure they are supported and motivated and are performing at their highest capability
  • Assist the sales team with the sales, administration and marketing of matchday packages
  • Support the Premium Sales & Club Box Manager with business plan development including budgets, forecasts, operational priorities and ongoing sales strategies

Person Specification:

  • Proven personal track record of proactively prospecting and securing new high value business
  • Sound personal qualities such as communication skills, the ability to work in a team environment, self-motivation, enthusiasm and ability to work under pressure
  • Highly motivated and target driven
  • Seasoned experience in a premium sales environment 
  • Experience of utilising a CRM system to drive growth through effective prospecting and activity management
  • Track record of delivering against sales targets
  • Experience of selling to a diverse customer base
  • Experience of dealing with multiple and diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent level of knowledge regarding all areas of hospitality product offerings as well as industry and competitor developments.
  • Positive and flexible approach to work with a proven commitment to teamwork
  • Experience of mentoring, developing & supervising team members
  • Excellent organisational, presentational and interpersonal skills

Specific Experience

  • Relevant experience of working in pro-active sales, ideally within a Commercial, Entertainment or Sport sales environment and/or with high net worth clients
  • Track record of high performance within a sales environment
  • Relevant experience of a data-driven, strategic sales approach
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent

Measures of Performance

  • Annual & MBM sales meet annual targets
  • Seasonal renewal rates meet annual targets
  • All administration completed accurately and efficiently
  • All objectives set out in KPIs & PDP are achieved
  • Maximum results in Mystery Shopper
