What is the main purpose of the role?
Working in the Meeting and Events Sales team the Meeting and Events Sales Executive - Final Details will ensure that the clients' needs are met and exceeded and are communicated effectively to the relevant departments resulting in a successful event.
You will ensure all clients and potential clients receive a polite, professional and effective service and that our standards are maintained at all times. You will also carry out post event calls within agreed timescales of each event taking place.
You will conduct all final details appointments and showrounds to the required standard. You will be responsible for the accurate production of function sheets for each event, with clear billing instructions and communication of these details to Meetings & Events Sales operations team.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone with previous hospitality or conference & events sales experience in a similar role. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with clients and colleagues at all levels. To be successful in this role, you’ll be highly organised with an eye for detail and you’ll thrive working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Given this role will involve using our booking system, it would be highly beneficial if you have used Opera before, however this is not essential.
