Hello. We’re Skinsmiths.

At Skinsmiths, our culture shapes who we are and how we operate. We are a successful ecosystem, which relies on the high-performance of all team members. We started in New Zealand, and we’re building a global brand. First stop, London.

We’re for you.

We’re offering a competitive annual salary between £20,000 - £30,000 depending on your experience, and bonuses.
But, that’s not all! In return for everything you bring to us, we can offer you an exciting role in a fast-growing, innovative and dynamic business.

Also, as well as the standard stuff you get for turning up to work we offer,

  • Generous Treatment Allowance and Product Discounts
  • Work Place Pension
  • 25 days Annual Leave, plus the 8 Bank Holidays
  • An additional day off on your birthday
  • Access to training and personal development opportunities.
  • With the possibility of much more as we grow!

Are you for us?

Are you an HR assistant who can work with our team to help create and support creative people-focused practices and processes that put us at the forefront of people management? We are looking for a passionate HR assistant who can help establish our people systems and practices. This role is ideally suited for someone who is willing to get stuck in and help us build our systems but is then also willing to progress and develop as the role evolves.

What will you be doing?

On a day-to-day basis, this will include revolutionising conventional administration requirements and working on projects designed to liberate and grow your role into one that will oversee and manage our world culture and people systems.

  • Help us to write our contracts, policies and processes in a way that fair and protect the needs of the individual as well as the business, but are also written in a way that human beings understand.
  • Help build and implement frameworks and systems that help enable managers to operate all aspects of their team; from onboarding and off-boarding through to remuneration and probation.
  • Organize CV’s and manage our applicant tracking system.
  • Assisting with general admin duties; reference checking, reporting, data entry, maintaining personnel data, and managing clinic queries.
  • Oversee and provide sound advice and direction on matters such as performance management discipline, grievance, capability, TUPE and redundancy.

Ideally, you will have:

  • A team-based approach; we are team first.
  • A genuine passion for developing a career in HR, as well as a desire to learn and develop as the role progresses.
  • A punctual and flexible approach to work.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • A confident communication style.

Bonus points if you have:

  • A passion for the aesthetic industry,
  • A demonstrable track record working in a dynamic and innovative HR team.
  • Experience working within a global environment.
  • Experience working with HRIS systems
  • Some kind of recruitment experience

Although, don’t let your levels of experience or qualification put you off! We hire on your attitude!

  • If you think you’ve got what it takes, or you really want to join us we would love to hear from you.
Whilst it would be awesome if you possessed expert skin knowledge and qualifications, really, it's your ambition, drive and experience that we are after. Honestly, we can teach you the rest as you grow and develop with the role.
  • Sweep the sheds – a favourite saying that loosely translates to, even our top players and star performers aren’t too big to pick up the small jobs. It’s rather meaningful to us that you are a standout teammate, job descriptions are not all-inclusive. As our founder likes to say, ‘It’s all hands-on deck here’, especially while we get established within the UK.

We pride ourselves on being an equal opportunity employer, we also strongly value diversity across all levels of our company. We do not discriminate based on your race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, or disability status.
