We are looking an enthusiastic, hard working individual to join our team of Porters on the bank. The successful candidate must be physically fit, possess excellent communication skills with a drive and determination to succeed whilst dealing with a wide range of situations within a Hospital environment. The ability to prioritise, work under your own initiative and also as part of a team are also essential in the role of a Hospital Porter.

Main duties:
1. Transfer of patients around the hospital
2. Collect and deliver patients to and from various departments
3. Sorting the hospital mail
4. The distribution of medical gases and the changing of medical gas manifolds
5. Routine collection of general/clinical waste along with soiled laundry
6. Security duties
8. Delivery of medical equipment to wards and departments

Skills and Experience
Good customer service skills essential
Experience in a similar role desirable
