One of our Central Support Offices is based in Gosforth and is a bustling hub of Parkdean Resorts. This exciting place to work houses all the essential supporting functions for our 72 holiday parks along with our award winning Contact Centre.

This modern office has a great feel, a mix of energetic knowledgeable professionals all working as one unified team to achieve Parkdean Resorts objectives. Based near the centre of Newcastle upon Tyne, it has great transport links.

HR- Employee Relation Specialists (Full and Part-time roles)

Parkdean Resorts are currently seeking passionate HR professionals to join their Employee Relations team.

With over 6000 employees in peak season, we are looking for proactive candidates who can share their knowledge and experience across a wide variety of Employee Relations related Cases.

Reporting into the Head of HR, you will be providing support and advice to employees and managers on all people management related issues across the business. You will offer guidance in line with Parkdean Resorts policies and procedures, whilst identifying trends in potential conflict activity.

Your main responsibilities will include:

* Managing the Employees relations cases from start to finish

* Coaching and building the capability of General Managers and Heads of Departments to anticipate and deliver conflict resolution in advance of issues escalating.

* Answering and capturing all communications with regards to resolution of disciplinary, grievance, capability and long term sickness cases including commissioning investigations, checking all notes and outcome documents prior to distribution.

* Ensuring all cases are progressed with pace and urgency and drive the reduction of ‘time to resolve'

* Influencing and persuading managers to deliver the right decision in conflict situations consistent with the business precedents already set.

* Driving consistency in maintaining and raising standards across the business when it comes to employee relations issues.

* Producing weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports to the highest standards of accuracy with valuable narrative for use by the business to predict the moving future landscape and bring about effective improvement.

* Delivering training sessions and workshops to champion professional people practice in all areas of the business.

The successful person will have:

* Experience of working in an Employee Relations Environment

* Confidence in dealing with a range of complex cases

* The ability to manage multiple projects effectively including time management

* Proactive and forward thinking in order to identify where improvements can be made in the service

* Experience working within a high volume environment

We have a number of part time opportunities working 3-4 days, there will be some flexibility in days for the right candidate.

The role will require you to work 1 in 3 Saturdays.
