Hall Porter

The Royal Automobile Club is looking for a flexible and personable Hall Porter to join our highly professional Front of House team at our Pall Mall Clubhouse.

As our tactful and respectful Hall Porter, you will play a pivotal part in upholding our exemplary standards. You will be at the forefront of member services and be one of the main points of contact to ensure memorable experiences for all members and their guests before, during, and after their stay

The role - you will maintain the highest standards of service and hospitality at all times, including:

• Ensuring members are greeted and assisted in a friendly manner

• Providing luggage assistance to all arriving and departing members

• Using your detailed knowledge of the clubhouse, its rules and facilities, handle all member and guest queries professionally and efficiently

• Assisting other functions at busy times – including reception/reservations, and food & beverage outlets

• Being alert and discreet regarding security-related matters and assist other departments when required

The Person - Our successful candidate will ideally possess experience in a similar luxurious establishment, and be able to demonstrate:

• Previous experience in a face-face customer service role/similar role
• A strong command of the English language
• Excellent presentation
• Good team working skills
