Chef de Partie - Loch Lomond Golf Club, Alexandria

Permanent role 40 hours per week (5 days per week) – Rota’d weekends off - Closed over Christmas

We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and hard-working Chef de Partie to join our Food & Beverage Team.  You will be passionate about providing fantastic food at all times and possess a real attention to detail. You must have relevant experience in a hotel or restaurant environment where the emphasis was on good fresh produce sourced locally. You will be ambitious, hard-working and have a real desire to move up the career ladder. The ideal candidate will have a full knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety and COSHH and qualified to at least NVQ level 2.

Candidates should display a high integrity of skill set knowledge and it is imperative they are flexible and able to work a variety of shifts to suit our business demands.  You will be asked to work as part of a team as well as being able to take your own initiative and work individually. This is a very demanding role and we are looking for someone who has a great eye for detail and who takes pride in their work.

Loch Lomond provides a wide variety of food services within its F&B Department and your role will require you to fulfil duties dependent on the business levels, shift patterns and experience. This can range from our A la carte and buffet breakfasts to busy lunch & dinner service in our Spikes restaurant which offers a Gastro-pub dining experience, Golf events and tournaments to private dinners and BBQ’s at the accommodation lodges.

The Basic Job Function is to take full responsibility for the running of a particular section in the kitchen.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working within a friendly team environment. This is a full-time position with 5 shifts from Monday to Sunday with a rota’d weekend off each month.  This position has excellent progression opportunities for those who are looking for an exciting career and job security.
