Ashdown Park Hotel have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Reception Manager to join our growing team. You will receive a competitive salary, plus excellent benefits.

Ashdown Park Hotel and Country Club is a stunning grade two listed country house set in 186 acres of beautiful grounds on the edge of the Ashdown Forest. With an award winning 4 red star Hotel, fine dining two rosette Anderida Restaurant and fully equipped Country Club and Spa, we offer our guests a complete experience.

We are looking for someone flexible to work 40 hours per week, 5 days over 7, including early and late shifts, weekends and bank holidays.

 

The Reception Manager Role:

 

This is key management position focusing on the smooth day to day running of the Reception and Switchboard operation for this luxury country house hotel. You will ensure that the quality of both internal and external service meets our 4 red star standards of performance and that the style of service delivery is consistent with Elite Hotels core values.

 

You will provide traditional hospitality and service excellence, offering a warm welcome to guests, whilst achieving agreed sales targets by a pro-active approach to existing and potential guests.

 

Our perfect Reception Manager will:

 

- Have experience in Reception work, ideally hotel, and in leading a team of at least 3 people (essential).

 

- Be a highly organised individual who is happy to work a flexible rota.

 

- Be an excellent communicator with a high command of written and verbal English.

 

- Have the ability to motivate and inspire your team to high performance.

 

- Have first class customer service skills, be well-groomed and have a tidy appearance.

 

- Have strong IT Skills (Word / Excel) with experience of Fidelio Opera Reservation and Rooms Management system, telephone switchboard and point of sales system.

 

Due to our rural location it is essential you have access to your own transport.
