Professional Receptionist - Borough Market, London

Following a successful re-launch, Fish! Restaurant in Borough Market is now looking for an experienced and enthusiastic receptionist.  

The restaurant counts 110 seats inside and 60 outside. We are open every day and welcome around 2500 guests weekly. Our clientele varies from business men, tourists, families to regular locals. The service style is casual and friendly but professional and efficient.

We are looking for a professional Receptionist to be part of our new experience and make fish a must destination for food enthusiast with great service and great food. 

Full time hours at a starting rate of £9 per hour, plus a share in the monthly bonus, and 28 days paid holidays.

All applicants will be required to have the following:

• Personable and welcoming manner
• Be well presented
• Confident use of English
• Good communication skills
• Confidence in answering phones and dealing with all types of guest requests
• Good organizational and time keeping skills
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment
• Ability to build a good rapport with regular guests
• Restaurant customer service experience

The core functions for the role are as follows:

• Welcoming and seating guests
• Answering phones
• Dealing with guest requests
• Management of online reservations
• Organizing large groups and parties
• Selling set menus
• All applicants must be flexible and available to work days, evenings and weekends.
