Working from our Support Centre Head Office in Hemel Hempstead, you will report into the Head of Operational Excellence for Warner Leisure Hotels.

The purpose of the role is:

  • To analyse rostering arrangements at each Hotel by department and to provide support, guidance and coaching on how to improve on rotas and team experience.
  • To ensure we have the right people, in the right place, at the right time to deliver our Mission of delighting our guests every time.
  • To support the development of rostering best practice and the use of Rotaready in Warner.
  • To deliver weekly updates to the Leadership team on opportunities and training needs in this area.

Role responsibilities:

  • Provide complete focus on ensuring we have the right people in the right place and the right time, every time so we can deliver a consistent guest experience at each Hotel. Ensuring that the guest is at the centre of each and every conversation and roster being delivered.
  • Support the development of training programmes and e-learning for team to ensure implementation of Rotaready has buy in and is sustainable going forward.
  • Support and coach the development of all leaders in their responsibility and accountability for managing rostering within their area.
  • Produce and maintain analysis weekly with each department at each Hotel on rota progress, risks and opportunities.
  • Develop communication strategies and training needs analysis for each Hotel and ensure rosters are kept to time.
  • Develop new reports and communication channels as required.
  • Investigate and implement the most appropriate ways to deliver Rotaready to Leaders and team at each Hotel.
  • Undertake research across all brands and develop best in class processes using whatever technology already exists within the business and identify and understand new systems as appropriate.

Qualifications, skills and abilities:

Preferred:

  • Recent experience of working within the hospitality or retail sector and with workforce management systems.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of practically applying data to operational, legal and strategic requirements.
  • Exceptional communication and coaching skills.

Desirable:

  • Preferably with some previous workforce management analysis experience who wants to step up.
  • Experience of a guest focussed and fast paced business.. Ability to build relationships, learn and take on new skills quickly.
