The Guest Services Team perform a diverse selection of tasks, ensuring all guests have a truly 5 red star experience. Guest Services is a key department in creating a tailored personalised guest experience, a distinctive culture and assisting our guests with any requests they may have.

The Royal Garden Hotel is the UK’s largest five red star hotel comprising of 394 bedrooms. The hotel is located on Kensington High Street, overlooking Kensington Gardens in easy walking distance to Kensington Palace and Hyde Park. The hotel is steeped in the history of sport, music art and culture and being a frequent host to iconic guest and events in this field.

This exciting and varied role requires a person who is highly guest focused and has the ability to delight our guests who require high levels of professionalism, friendliness, knowledge and technical ability. The ideal candidate for the role must have recent experience within a similar Front Office role, preferably gained in a similar establishment. You will need to have very strong administrative skills, be computer literate in Microsoft Office and have strong typing skills. Knowledge of Opera is an asset.

We are looking for a professional individual, who has the ability to build strong relationships. You need to be a strong communicator and an active listener and demonstrate a diplomatic approach when dealing with enquiries. You must have great organisational skills and be able to work unsupervised.

You will be required to promote and develop loyalty from hotel guests by reacting positively to their needs and providing a high level of tailored personalised tailored guest service. You will manage and develop relationships with our guests and assist in creating a warm relaxed atmosphere being present in the hotel public areas, to promote goodwill and react to customer comments and needs.
