Meeting & Events Sales Manager, Malmaison, Liverpool

As Meeting & Events Sales Manager you will build and develop strong relationships with our customers. By overseeing all meeting and events sales you will be responsible for revenue generation through meetings and conferences, weddings, private dining, Christmas events and exhibitions.  You will be involved in decisions around costing's, local PR and marketing with you being the face and voice of the brand.

Responsible for the sale of all meeting rooms and conference space you will be primarily office based Monday to Friday with some evening and weekend work as the business requires..

You will be required to manage the external and internal M&E sales function, generate new business and maintain existing client revenues, regularly showing clients and guests around the hotel . You will be expected to head up your team and liaise with the Sales Manager and other Heads of Department and also the General Manager with regards to promotions, events and regular M&E business.

Passion for M&E sales is a must as are excellent communication and number skills, being a team player and being driven by enthusiasm and personality. Experience within a similar role is beneficial with Meeting & Events Sales Managers having passion for hospitality and the way we deliver service with a smile at Mal.
