Sales Executive - Amble Links Holiday Park

It’s an exciting time for Park Leisure. We’ve recently bought our 12th park and there are great plans for the future.

The park

Situated on the North East coast, near to the charming fishing village of Amble, Amble Links Holiday Park offers customers a wealth of activities and a prime location for exploring further afield.

The role

A fantastic opportunity to work as part of a great sales team at Amble Links, actively promoting the park and endorsing its facilities, meeting/exceeding own sales targets. You’ll proactively identify new sales opportunities, using a variety of methods, including making use of the internet, social media and making telephone calls, to generate potential leads. You’ll use your own initiative in order to create new and exciting ideas and with the support of the Sales Manager, developing them accordingly.

You will actively participate in park events, welcoming customers to the park and putting them at ease. You’ll give park tours to future owners, listening to their requirements and recommending specific holiday homes to suit their needs. You’ll always endeavour to exceed customer expectations, promoting the facilities and the five-star experience Park Leisure has to offer.

You’ll know your product, having an in-depth knowledge of all our holiday homes, facilities and the various packages the park offers. You’ll have a thorough knowledge of our sales process and expectations, ensuring paperwork is accurately completed following company procedures, and will close sales efficiently.

About you

You are enthusiastic, self-motivated, friendly and will contribute to the positive culture of the sales team. You’re passionate about sales and enjoy working towards targets, have excellent commercial awareness and are knowledgeable about current sales/markets. You’re reliable, thorough, honest and efficient. You’re focused, have impeccable standards and are dedicated to achieving great results.

Experience

You’ll have prior experience in a direct sales environment and will have also previously worked in a customer facing role. Ideally, you will also have previously worked in a similar environment and will have experience of selling caravans. You will be educated to grade C or above in Maths and English at GCSE level (or equivalent) and will be adept at using IT applications.

A driving licence is required for this role. You will also need to be aged 21 or above, as you’ll be required to drive company vehicles.

Pay

The salary is £21,000 plus commission with the OTE being circa £61,000. Benefits such as pension and holiday are also on offer.

Contract

The role is permanent and full time.

Temporary accommodation for a period of up to two months may be available and will be discussed in more detail at interview stage.
