Tonic are looking for an experienced spa manager for one of our key clients in the Gloucestershire area of the Cotswolds. This stunning property is part of a small boutique hotel group that is professionally run, this spa is a great place to work.

You will come from a fitness or a beauty background and your responsibilities in these areas and those of the rest of the team can be moulded to fit this exciting role.

You must be flexible - having a flexible attitude will go a long way in adjusting to the day to day operations. Working weekends and evening hours will be required. 

You will need to have fantastic social skills and be able to engage naturally with guests playing a front-line role in hospitality and creating an aura and a culture that all will follow. Maintaining guest satisfaction is essential.

Having experience in pool/plant room management is an essential skill that is necessary for this spa management role too. You will in time, also need to understand the facilities, be unflappable in a crisis and be able to navigate a spreadsheet or two to control resources.

You daily tasks will include but not be limited to; recruitment and training, supporting the spa management teams, reviewing and improving systems and processes, health and safety, maintaining guest satisfaction, constantly maintaining high levels of spa and staff presentation, hosting VIP/journalist visits and more. You will also need to have good ideas and a vision for the future, and be able to get the best for your team, always maintaining a focus on learning and development.

You also need to be fun to work with, have an understanding of others, assertive, have initiative, diplomatic/calm and be prepared to play a leading role in the team.
