JOB SUMMARY To assist the Head Housekeeper in running the department, take control of the running of the department in there absence. Ensuring that all stock is controlled along with the budgetary guidelines regarding payroll and overheads SCOPE / BUSINESS CONTEXT Experience:
  • Previous Supervisory experience in a similar operation (preferred)Skills and Knowledge
  • Strong Communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
  • Strong administration skills
  • High Standard of personal hygiene and appearance
  • Pro-active and reliable
  • Able to work alone and within a team
  • Flexible shift pattern

  • To ensure the smooth running of the department in the Executive Housekeepers absence
  • Assist the Housekeeper in daily issues such as rotas and meetings
  • Responsible for the efficient stock control of linen, cleaning materials and guest supplies
  • Assisting the housekeeper with training and other personnel issues along with H & S
  • Completion of forecast and actual payroll figures in the absence of the Housekeeper
  • Ensuring that the department is adhering to company procedures at all times
  • To undertake any cleaning duties as and when required along with other reasonable request made by the Housekeeper
  • Checking of rooms when required
  • To control the self-checking room attendants and carry out spot checks on their rooms
  • To monitor the Housekeeping assistants on a day to day basis
  • To oversee the controls within the linen room
  • To check the public areas on a regular basis
