  • 4 yrs Previous experience in a similar operation (preferred)

Job Summary SPECIFIC DUTIES The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position:Effectively manage the relevant section and ensure it operates in the best productive mannerEnsure that all food is serviced in a consistent manner following the guidelines and recipes laid downEnsure that there is a good communication process with Commis chefs and that they have a high level of understandingEnsure that all foods handled within the section are handled in a hygienic mannerTo ensure that they comply with all current Health, Safety and Hygiene legislationTo assist the Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef in the training of all levels of associatesEnsure floats are counted and balanced at start and end of shift and they are secure at all times. Blind Banking procedures are followed along with all local and Marriott policies and procedures.OTHER
  • Performs other related tasks as assigned by management.
  • Complies with Marriott International Hotels Limited Regional Office policies and procedures.
  • Working hours as required to do your job but normally not less than 40 hours per week.
