As aConference and Banqueting Supervisor you will be required to supervise andoversee the preparation and running ofevents both large and small. Youwill need to ensure that you supervise the running of coffee breaks and breakout stations to ensure they have the appropriate food and beverage as stated inBanquet Event Order. You may also be required to prepare tables, actionsstations, buffets, dessert tables and drink stations. You will also be requiredto serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests whilst answeringquestions on menu selections. As a supervisor you will have to communicate withthe kitchen effectively regarding menu questions, dietary requirements, thelength of wait on menu items, and product availability.
Clean andmaintain all areas through the Conference and Banqueting areas including the Kitchen,prep and other back of house areas. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe workconditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications. Supportwith general enquiries regarding the hotel grounds as well as any Conference andBanqueting and food specific queries.
