Pub Features

Located on the outskirts of Blackburn in Cherry Tree, the Station is a large stand alone building with a prominent position on the main road. On entering the property you are greeted by a large wrap around bar, which is located in the centre of the trading area. To the left of the bar there is a open fire which is surrounded by various seating areas. A DJ/entertainment booth sits to the left and there is also seating around the bar. A pool table and darts board sit to the right of the bar, along with further seating. There is a fully equipped catering kitchen. Outside there is an attractive beer garden and communal parking. The living accommodation consists of 3 double bedrooms, lounge, dining area, kitchen, bathroom and office. It has been maintained to a high standard with a new bathroom and new carpets throughout.

Trading Style

Attracting customers of all ages, the Station is a busy wet led pub. Trade comes from the local area and during the summer many walkers visit the pub for refreshments. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays the pub hosts a DJ, with a band/singer also provided on Saturdays. There is darts team on Tuesdays and on Saturdays football and hockey teams. Various functions such as weddings, christenings and funerals are held throughout the year. A small bar menu could be introduced, with breakfasts at the weekend which has proved popular in the past. Current opening hours are Monday – Thursday 3pm- late, Friday 2pm – 1am, Saturday & Sunday 12pm – 1am.
