Leisure Attendants/Lifeguards - Laura Trott Leisure Centre, Cheshunt
40 hours per week (job sharing may be considered)
Salary up to £15,600 p.a.
The Borough of Broxbourne is in south east Hertfordshire, bordering London and the M25, with a population of about 93,600. Stratford International railway station is 25 minutes away by train and there is good access to airports and the rest of the country. We would welcome qualified lifeguards, but provided you are a good swimmer and willing to undertake our lifeguard training course we will train you. As a Lifeguard your duties will include setting up and breaking down sports equipment, providing assistance and help to members of the public who visit the centres. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the centres are kept immaculately clean and tidy at all times.
You will have:

Successful candidates will work on a shift pattern which includes evenings and weekends and will have the opportunity to work at both leisure centres.
This role requires an enhanced disclosure check that the Council will pay for.
The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential in this post.
