Food and Beverage Manager

£28- 30k basic

OTE: Bonus to increase earnings to £35k payable on achievement of targets

Witney, Oxfordshire

I am currently looking for a food and beverage manager for a leading sports club, which includes golf, gym, sports bar, brasserie and standalone restaurant. We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and hardworking individual who has the ability to work with and motivate others in a challenging environment. The successful applicant will report to the General Manager and assist in managing the front of house team, and will be expected to deliver exceptional service to both Club Members and visitors alike

The venue has a stunning golf course, along with large conference and event spaces, playing host to a wide range of corporate events, wedding and parties throughout the year.

To be successful in this role, you will have extensive experience in running large food and beverage operations, across a number of venues, and have up to date health and safety qualifications. You will need to be able to demonstrate that you have managed large teams across large scale events, and possess the ability to manage multiple events at one time.

The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of all Food & Beverage operations. Experience within a 4 or 5 star environment would be an advantage. The Food and Beverage Manager will need to have experience in dealing with conferences and functions from start to finish.

The ideal candidate will need to have a lively, out-going personality, excellent man-management and communication skills and an analytical understanding of finance. Most importantly, you need to have a genuine passion for hospitality and customer service with a 'hands on' approach.

The role is far from Monday- Friday, with early mornings, late nights and weekend work expected within to suit the needs of the business.
