Working at Forest Holidays isn’t like any ordinary job. Our business is a people business and we’re in the business of providing our guests with the ultimate holiday experience unmatched anywhere.
About the role
This varied, outdoor role as part of our Support Crew will see you maintaining a favourite part of our guest’s holidays, their hot tub. By ensuring that hot tubs are operating correctly, with the correct chemical balance, you’ll ensure that our guests are able to safely enjoy time in their hot tub throughout their break.
You’ll spend your time working within a stunning forest environment, witnessing the beauty of each of the seasons through the year. You’ll also be provided with free uniform, on-location parking and discounted meals during your working day, plus 28 days holiday allowance (pro-rata) per year.
Our generous benefits package includes discounted stays for yourself, your family and your friends, plus discounts within The Forest Retreat shop, and eatery. We also offer a childcare voucher scheme and a rewards portal with a range of benefits and discounts across a wide range of retailers.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for enthusiastic, energetic people to join us. You’ll enjoy working as part of a large, proactive team but the role will also involve working alone. This role is predominantly based outdoors, whatever the weather, so a love for sunshine, as well as rain, is ideal!
You’ll need to be great at time management and adapt your working to be as efficient as possible. The role itself also involves some physical aspects, such as lifting and lots of walking, so you’ll need to expect this and have a basic level of fitness.
Ideal skills & experience
Full training will be provided to successful candidates and no previous experience is required. Ideally the successful candidate will be physically fit and have strong people skills. Our hot tub Support Crew spend a lot of time around our cabins and so guest interaction is frequent and being able to provide strong customer service is vital. A positive, can-do attitude will be the key to your success in ensuring the guests have a fantastic break with us.
