As a Assistant Manager working in Costa you will support the Unit Manager to ensure we deliver great coffee, in a clean and friendly enviroment, giving every customer the best experience, every time.

• Proven experience of delivering operational standards and managing a team in a customer facing businesses (preferably catering, hospitality or retail)
• Previous experience of working within a Coffee business is desirable however not essential
• Team orientated and the ability to successfully work with others
• Well organised, good at prioritising and managing time
• Proven experience motivating, managing and maximising the performance of others

The role of an Assistant Manager will involve supporting the Unit Manager in delivering the four units operational targets to a consistently high standard;

• Brand and Customer Service audits; driving quality and upskilling team members where necessary.
• Sales and KPI targets - upselling wherever possible and managing targets carefully.
• Financial targets & wage controls.
• People management; coach, mentor and develop your team to exceed potential.
• Customer Service; champion exceeding customer expectations and drive the business forward to consistently deliver brand excellence.
• Support the wider Operations team where necessary.
