Sous Chef - The Swan Inn - Chiddingfold, Godalming

The Upham Pub Company is a pub company like no other. We are a company that specialises in fabulous pubs, expertly designing and furnishing each one of them to suit the setting and the surroundings they are in. Whilst no two pubs are the same, they all have the passion to deliver excellent food and exemplary service – at all times.

We are currently looking for a Sous Chef for the award winning 2 rosette Swan Inn in Chiddingfold. This is an amazing site to work in and has won numerous awards including the top 50 gastro pub awards 2018.

Key duties include:

  • Responsibility for the running of the kitchen when the head chef is not there
  • Menu development, costing and food sales driving
  • Wastage control and GP control
  • Health and Safety monitoring

As a Sous chef you will bring fresh ideas, a real ‘can do’ attitude and a passion to deliver exceptional food – every time. If you have a steady and reliable track record in the kitchen, are happy working under pressure and have a positive thinking, passionate, motivated and no problem approach to working in a kitchen – then we are the ideal company for you.

You will need experience working as a Sous Chef with fresh food with a minimum 2 year experience. (Rosette back ground not essential).
