Part Time – Swimming Bookings Coordinator
£17,550.00 per annum – 9:30am to 2:30pm
5 hours per day @ £13.50 per hour
Up to £1,500 performance-based bonus
SwimWay is a fast-growing swimming school based in Putney, London. We are currently looking for a well-spoken, confident all-rounder for the position of part-time Swimming Bookings Coordinator to start on Monday 26th March. Candidates will need to have effective communication skills, be quick and smart with excellent attention to detail, while still being able to multi-task and deliver under pressure.
The position will involve a wide range of tasks, from customer services and management of a small portfolio of venues to instructor management, sales targets and a various managements tasks related to your portfolio. Reporting to the Managing Director, the position would ideally suit someone with previous experience in a similar role, or with a customer service/sales, marketing or resource management background.
Candidates who are qualified swimming teachers, former swimmers or have experience using the CoursePro Bookings Software will certainly have an advantage.
General Roles and Responsibilities:
- Customer services and sales
- Resource scheduling and management
- Team communication and site coordination
- Various day-to-day administrative tasks to support your and your team’s workflow
Specific Tasks:
- Building sustainable relationships and trust with clients and business partners
- Handling customer complaints, providing solutions within appropriate timescales, following up to ensure satisfactory resolutions
- Keeping records of customer interactions, processing customer accounts and filing documents
- Customer orientation and familiarity, with an ability to adapt/respond to a diverse range of personalities
- Phone and email communication with clients, partners and staff
- Maintaining up to date reports and various spreadsheets throughout the day
- After-hours availability for any on site issues that require management and client communications
Required Experience/Attributes:
- Booking management, sales or marketing roles
- CoursePro booking software an advantage
- Basic swimming knowledge an advantage
- Exceptionally organised, capable of managing and prioritising multiple tasks and responsibilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including tact, discretion and experience of liaising with senior management and staff
- Fluent in spoken and written English, with a polite and confident phone manner
- Ability to work quickly, without sacrificing quality or professionalism
- Highly enthusiastic and pro-active with the ability to prioritise, multi-task and work autonomously
- Experience working within a team
- Previous office experience (in either an office manager/assistant or junior office manager role)
- Goal-orientated personality
- Competent using MS Office applications – eg; Excel/Word/Outlook/PowerPoint, etc.
- UK resident and/or has permission to work in the UK
