The Palace Hotel has been a prominent building in the stunning spa town of Buxton since 1868 and has now become one of the most prestigious Buxton conference venues in the region, boasting 8 conference rooms catering for between 40 to 500 delegates. The Palace is a prime venue choice for everything from business meetings to wedding receptions.

We are looking to recruit a Conference & Events Coordinator who will respond to conference and event enquiries by phone, fax, and e-mail. You will maintain a good working relationship with regular clients and agents and perform sales calls to generate enquiries. This position is on a part-time basis and you will be required to work 35 hours per week.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 Year working in a similar Event Coordinating Role, with knowledge of all aspects of event coordinating and hotel operations. The candidate will have excellent communication skills whether face to face or by telephone. Knowledge of the Opera & Delphi systems would be advantageous.
