Assistant Leisure Manager - Plas Coch Holiday Homes

It’s an exciting time for Park Leisure. We’ve recently bought our 12th park and there are great plans for the future!

The park

Located on the Isle of Anglesey, Plas Coch Holiday Homes offers a picturesque location and exceptional facilities, which includes it’s own luxury leisure complex, boasting hydrotherapy pools, a swimming pool, steam room and sauna, as well as a five-star spa.

The role

A fantastic opportunity to join our brilliant team here at Plas Coch, responsible for assisting the Leisure Complex Manager in managing the day to day running of the Leisure facilities.

Leading a team, inspiring and motivating them to achieve excellent results, always ensuring they deliver an outstanding experience to our customers. You’ll make certain they are equipped with all the necessary skills and have everything they need to be able to carry out their roles successfully, supporting with their training and sharing knowledge, motivating the team to be the best they can be.

You’ll assist the Leisure Complex Manager in managing both on and off park sporting activities, organising sporting events, ensuring customers have a brilliant time.

Health and safety is of vital importance and you’ll ensure the pool area is continually staffed by qualified team members, for both the comfort and safety of customers using the facilities. You’ll also ensure all the leisure facilities are cleaned to an exceptional standard. You will regularly maintain the pool, ensuring it meets the required standard and in general will make certain the health and leisure facilities are fully compliant will all legislative requirements, reporting any issues to the Leisure Complex Manager.

About you

You are positive, enthusiastic, dedicated, customer focused and want to exceed expectations. You’re a confident communicator, enjoy teaching others, organised, exacting, professional and approachable, remain calm under pressure, self-motivated and are passionate about what you do.

Experience

You’ll have previous experience as a supervisor/Assistant Manager in a leisure environment. A National Pool Lifeguard qualification is essential. A National Pool Plant Operators Certificate (CIMSPA or equivalent) is desirable, as is a level two gym instructor qualification. Ideally, you’ll also have previous experience of organising and running sporting activities.

An enhanced DBS check will be required in order to undertake this role.

Pay

£19,200 per annum. Benefits such as holiday and pension are also on offer.

Hours

The role is a full time permanent position. Hours will be discussed in more detail at interview stage.
