Assistant Events Manager - Ham Yard

We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Events Manager to join our highly successful events team at the Ham Yard. This is a hands on, operational role, ensuring the successful running of our events onsite.

As Assistant Events Manager you will be working closely with the Events Manager and Food and Beverage Manager, running functions in our private bars, bowling alley, screening room and private meeting rooms - no two days will be the same!

You will be expected to motivate your team to ensure the highest level of customer service is being delivered and the expectations of our guests are being consistently exceeded.

What are my main duties as the Assistant Events Manager?

  • Run the daily operations of the events department with the Events Manager
  • Manage and motivate the events team
  • Communicating all function details to the different departments of the hotel
  • Conduct daily briefings with the events team
  • Deliver and maintain the exceptional levels of customer service provided
  • Establish strong and professional relationships with guests
  • Have a good command of the departmental budget
  • Deliver inspirational showrounds in order to showcase the spaces to prospective clients

Hours required for the role of Assistant Events Manager:

As an Events Manager you will work full time as required by the operation. You will need to be flexible with the days and times you are able to work.
