Tylney Hall Hotel is a beautiful 4 red Star Hotel with 112 bedrooms, set in the heart of 66 acres of glorious parkland and boasts the longest uninterrupted view in Hampshire. With a 2 rosette Restaurant we are committed to delivering hospitality to the highest standard. Our facilities include spa treatment rooms and leisure facilities including both an indoor and an outdoor pool and banqueting facilities which are second to none.

We are looking for an exceptional individual to join us as Food and Beverage Manager, to drive our Restaurant, Lounge, Bar and Room Service, leading a team in providing first class customer service to exceed our guests' expectations, working with our Head Chef, Mike Lloyd, who previously held three rosettes at a hotel in Marlow and who along with the Hotel Management, strives for further accreditations and accolades at Tylney Hall.

 

 

This position may be suitable for an experienced and results driven Restaurant Manager who is ready to take their next career step, demonstrating their aptitude for customer service, training, sales and revenue capture.

 

 

The Food and Beverage Manager role:
Tylney Hall is a beautiful 4 red star hotel with a 5 star reputation! We need a confident, experienced and organised individual to oversee the Oak Restaurant, Lounge, Bar and Room Service areas. The service offerings vary from innovative cuisine in the Oak restaurant to traditional afternoon teas in our elegant lounges.

 

 

The Food and Beverage Manager is accountable for the Hospitality and Service offered to every single guest and visitor by themselves and their team. The individual needs to be commercially and financially perceptive and able to influence the 'bottom line' figures. We require a strong communicator who can contribute to and implement strategies effectively in this crucial position. The successful applicant will need to liaise with all other departments to ensure that service in the Restaurant, Lounge, Bar and Room Service is seamless in the guests' eyes. Of course, we expect all of our Managers to have an understanding of our legal responsibilities relating to; food hygiene, health and safety, and fire regulations. We also expect our Managers to encourage their teams to grow and develop, to learn more about the business and be involved in the business and to facilitate them achieving their full potential, as well as developing a succession plan within the team.

 


The Food and Beverage Manager will:

 

  • Have a 'hands on approach' who is happy to work a flexible rota as this area of the Hotel is open every day of the week for long hours.
  • Have excellent communication skills across all media along with a good command of English.
  • Have excellent organisational skills.
  • Have superb customer service skills as well as being extremely well presented and having a good eye for detail.
  • Have relevant experience in a minimum 4 star hotel and a two rosette restaurant along with leading a team of at least 25 people is essential.
