Tylney Hall Hotel is a beautiful 4 red Star Hotel with 112 bedrooms, set in the heart of 66 acres of glorious parkl& & boasts the longest uninterrupted view in Hampshire. Our facilities include beauty treatment rooms & leisure facilities including both an indoor & an outdoor pool & banqueting facilities which are second to none.

The Conference & Banqueting Assistant role:

 

We are looking for a confident & hard working individual to join our busy Conference & Banqueting Department on a full time basis working 35 hours a week. The service offered from this department includes all functions whether it be a slick conference for the Directors of a global organisation employing 10,000 people, a wedding for 100, or an 80th Birthday party for 20. All of our guests are given the 'wow' factor & treated as VIP's! This role is 98% operational & 'hands on' in style! Our Casual Conference & Banqueting Assistants need to communicate effectively within their department & they also need to liaise with other departments on a two way basis ensuring that the service is seamless in our guests' eyes. The work can be physically demanding including carrying & lifting various items included loaded trays, equipment & furniture. We encourage all of our employees at all levels to grow, be involved in the business, develop as an individual, & achieve their full potential.

 

Events can run all day and into the night so the shifts will vary occasionally starting at 7am or finishing at 2am, dependant on the event.

 

The Conference & Banqueting Assistant will:

 

 

Be happy to work a flexible rota. Have a friendly, approachable manner. Have good communication skills, & a high command of English. Have excellent & discreet customer service skills & be extremely well presented. Have some experience in hotel 'Food & Beverage' Have impeccable attention to detail. Please be advised we are in a rural location so you must have your own transport, Live in available for the right candidate.
