The Leisure Assistant role:-

 

The Leisure Assistant will join our health & beauty salon department and will undertake a variety of duties on each shift. The main responsibilities involve lifeguarding the pool areas as required, offering and assisting guests with correct use of the facilities if needed, ensuring that the Leisure area is clean and tidy and to maintain this throughout the duration of the day, re-stocking towels in indoor & outdoor pools, gym area and changing rooms.

 

You will ensure the customer experience is as relaxing as possible with aiding them in receiving room service or taking orders. Reporting to Salon manager at the end of each day and liaising with the Salon staff, communication is a key skill in this department and between other departments as it allows everything to run smoothly.

 

 

Hours of work are on a Casual basis on a rota system covering the pools opening hours between 8am - 8pm, and will include weekends and bank holidays.

 

 

The Leisure Assistant will:-

 

  • Have a good understanding and ability to speak and read English.
  • Will have excellent attention to detail.
  • Be able to cope with moving & transporting large or heavy loads around the hotel.
  • Need to have confidence to work within a team or alone to use own initiative.

We are in a rural location so own transport is also essential.
