The Conference and Banqueting Operations Manager role:

 

The Conference and Banqueting Operations Manager is to control and manage the smooth and efficient running of the Conference & Banqueting Department, maintaining maximum quality standards and ensuring total guest satisfaction. This position demands the ability to oversee a wide variety of different events including weddings, private dinners, conferences and parties of up to 500 people in three separate locations, in addition to several outdoor activity areas across the 1,000 acre Estate. Control of wage cost and managing profitability through efficient stock control are key elements of the position.

 

 

The Conference and Banqueting Operations Manager will:

 

  • Demonstrate a successful career in Operational Events Management, preferably in the luxury hotel market.
  • Must be calm under pressure and have excellent communication & organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Have excellent people management skills- must have the ability to train, develop and motivate a team of staff.
