The Lyons Group is currently recruiting for an experienced and dynamic Barista to join the team in our popular coffee shop at our Head Office, Lyons Robin Hood.  This is a temporary, part-time position.

In this role you will be responsible for serving food and beverages to holidaymakers and holiday home owners.  We have a busy play area for guests alongside our coffee shop which you will also oversee as part of this role.

In this position we are looking for someone with extremely high standards of presentation both of themselves and also when displaying or preparing food and beverage items.

Ideally you will have a warm, polite personality and be able to build rapport with our guests whilst providing exceptional customer service at all times.  The responsibilities of this role are listed below:-

Barista Responsibilities

• Serving items promptly to guests as they arrive – upselling when able
• Developing rapport with customers whilst offering great customer service
• Cleaning the kitchen, eating and play areas so that they are always spotless
• Operating the till, billing the correct prices and giving out correct change
• Clearing tables promptly and wiping them down in good time to ensure a consistently clean environment once customers have finished
• Bringing food and drink items to customers in a polite, tidy and quiet fashion.

Previous experience of a similar position would be a real advantage as would having imagination and ideas of how to attract customers into our coffee shop and how to display items in the most appealing ways.
