The Bloomsbury Hotel now has an excellent opportunity available for a Guest Services Assistant to join our front of house team.

Purpose:
To ensure the efficient and smooth running of the guest services / front office department, dealing with guest requests in a professional and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all guest requests and enquiries are handled professionally, providing callers with comprehensive information regarding hotel services.
  • To answer all incoming calls and transfer to the relevant department or take a message in their absence.
  • Ensure all requests are recorded and actioned in accordance with company policy and in an efficient and courteous manner.
  • To be aware at all times of current business targets and to focus at all times on achieving these targets.
  • Deal with guest requests in a friendly and efficient manner ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
  • Assist in the smooth running of the Guest services department

The ideal candidate for this position:

  • Must be courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of customer service
  • Must have an excellent telephone manner
  • Must be standards driven and detail-orientated
  • Must have the ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
  • Must have a good command of the English Language
  • Should be flexible with regards to hours
  • Should have excellent self-presentation
  • Should have previous experience in similar role
