We are recruiting for full time Sous Chef to join The Curtain family. All of our kitchen team members are on 40 hour contracts on a flexible rota regardless of which kitchen you work in… And we have 3!

We are looking for passionate people that have a real enthusiasm for food and delivering the very best quality whilst injecting some proactive rock and roll fun into the service.

As a Sous Chef, you’ll:

• Follow all relevant health and safety regulations
• Be fully in charge of hiring, managing and training kitchen staff together with the Head Chef
• Insure all food standards set are maintained at all times in regard to food deliveries, food preparation and food service
• Maintain high kitchen standards and development of junior chefs
• Oversee the work of chefs
• Maintain records of payroll and attendance
• Attentiveness, active listening, good communication skills all delivered in true rock star fashion
• Estimate staff’s workload and set and monitor completion of tasks
• Be proactive, a team player and the best support to the kitchen family
