We are currently recruiting for a talented, guest focused Chef at the Angels in Hitchin. The Angels was the first of McMullen’s expanding pizza concept, and was refurbished in 2014 offering classic British pub dishes, amazing Sunday roasts and of course fresh pizza’s straight from the oven. It business operates with full table service and has the addition of a children’s play area both inside and externally. Food accounts for 65% of the sales, and the site can serve up to 2000 main meals at peak. The right Chef must therefore be able to manage a high volume food business, whilst maintaining standards and developing the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding guest service at all times
• Serving drinks and food to our guests as per Company standard in a warm and friendly manner
• Assist in setting up and closing down the bar/floor areas ready for service or the next trading session
• Maintain the House standards keeping all areas of the business clean and tidy
