Do you have experience within administration or in a receptionist position? Do you consider yourself professional, organised and personable? McMullen and Sons has an exciting opportunity, we are looking to recruit a part time receptionist, from Wednesday to Friday, based at Head Office in Hertford.
Broad Description of Duties
- Greet visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Answer the phone and transfer calls from the switchboard
- Franking the post to be sent out on a daily basis
- Keep the reception area clear and tidy
- Ensuring that an accurate record of cars parked at head office is maintained
- Recording and notifying the cellar service department of any problems with beer or equipment
- Recording and distribution of all parcel deliveries received into head office
- Assist the accounts department with the processing of invoices
- Unloading the dishwasher on arrival
- Ensuring that front and back doors are locked at the end of the day and opened in the morning as required
- Monitoring the e-mail sent to reception and distributing the same if appropriate
- Reporting telephone faults
- Provide cover for all times the other receptionist is not available
- Ensuring a good handover is made to other receptionists so that important information is passed on
