Head Receptionist - The George Hotel, Lichfield

The George Hotel is a 3 star hotel with 45 bedrooms, Darwin’s Restaurant which serves modern-British food and conference and banqueting facilities for up to 110, situated in the heart of Lichfield City centre.

We have an excellent opportunity for a Head Receptionist to join our Front of House Team.

As Head Receptionist you will report to the General Manager and lead the Reception team to deliver outstanding customer service to visitors and guests of the hotel. You will motivate the team to check guests in and out, ensuring the correct payments are made, offer friendly and expert information and guidance to guests, actively promote the hotel’s facilities and maximise opportunities for room sales.

The successful candidate will be customer-focussed with a passion for delivering quality service. You will demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills and have a keen eye for detail. Experience of a hotel reception and hotel reservation sales is essential and knowledge of the Guestline front office system would be an advantage.

This is a full time position working shifts to include evenings and weekends.
