Assistant Housekeeping Manager - The Celtic Manor Resort, Newport

We are looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join our Housekeeping department here at the Celtic Manor Resort.

As an Assistant Manager at one of Europe’s finest golf, leisure and business resorts, you will thrive on the buzz and excitement of this prestigious venue, facilitating the daily operation of the busy housekeeping department including the laundry, public area and uniform team

This crucial role calls for a talented all-rounder with a passion for the luxury hotel industry and a proactive, results-orientated approach. As well as recruiting and training team members to perform their roles to the impeccable standards required, you will also demonstrate the ability to lead and inspire, providing monitoring and coaching as appropriate to maintain the exceptional standards of service and high morale of this team of approximately 80 people.

Your strong housekeeping management background, exceptional guest and interpersonal skills and experience of working in a large five star environment will ensure that you have all the skills necessary to deal with the pressures of day-to-day Public Area issues. Knowledge of the Opera computer system is essential. We are also looking for an individual who has experience of working with volume 300+ bedrooms and a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Supervisor/Manager.
