We are currently recruiting for a People Advisor to join us here at The Hoxton, Holborn on an initial 6 month fixed term contract to support us with the TUPE transfer in of the Food & Beverage operations.

We are gathering some of the brightest doers, smartest thinkers and the most talented makers and in your role, along with our Head of People, Maeve you will support their Talent journey as they join the Hoxton family.

It will be all hands on deck over the next few weeks and in your role as People Advisor you will be responsible for the co-ordination and action of all TUPE activity up to and after the transfer. Following this you will be responsible along with the Head of People and Head of Culture & Internal Communications to support their integration into the business and before you leave us you will support the appointment of a Talent Coordinator to lead the People function onsite.

To give you just a taste - 

  • Request due diligence from outgoing employer and on receipt review to ensure we have all the necessary information.
  • Lead the data entry of all employee information onto our HRIS Carval/Selima.
  • Create employee files.
  • Support with the ‘get to know’ 1 to 1 meetings.
  • Support with onboarding and induction of all transfers.
  • You'll be the first point of contact for our talent in the business for general enquiries.
  • You'll support our Recruitment & Selection cycle from advertising on our various platforms, arranging interviews through to reference checking.
  • You'll support our transfers during their first few months ensuring they have coffee chats and reviews scheduled.
  • You'll support our Learning & Development programs, liaising with participants, calendar invites, reminders through to gathering feedback. 
  • You'll support our Reward and Recognition initiatives ensuring our transfers are aware of them.
  • You'll get involved in integration projects. We want to hear your ideas and get your input on how we can bring the two teams together as one.
  • You will devise ways in which to bring our values to life on a daily basis by all the team.
  • Support with the appointment of an onsite Talent Coordinator to lead the People function onsite.

Likely Background

  • You may come with a background in Hospitality and/or Leisure.
  • You will have previous TUPE experience.
  • You will be a strong administrator.
  • You’ll have an appropriate level of higher education.
  • CIPD qualified or working towards it.
