An independent boarding school for 13-18 year old boys

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time gardener to join the team responsible for the maintenance and development of gardens and grounds within Harrow School.

Steeped in centuries of history and tradition, the school houses many unique and nationally important buildings, whose grounds and gardens cover an area in excess of 50 acres comprising formal lawns, hedges and flower beds requiring a high standard of maintenance.

Working alongside the Gardens Manager and the gardening team, you should possess a horticultural qualification or have relevant experience.

Duties to include lawn care, planting, pruning, weeding, hedge cutting plus snow clearance and salting in the winter, therefore it is essential that applicants are  capable of heavy lifting and able to work outdoors throughout the year in all weathers
